Ever wanted to hack up a couple people and slap 'em together to make some sort of monster? (Yes, I'm talking to you Dr Frankenstein) Well now you can! The folks over at Mono have thrown together an amazingly fun flash thing that lets you mashup their faces! Enjoy it and pass it along, who knows how long it'll stay up.
Flash theft protection
January 4th, 2007 at 04:10:52 PMI don't know how many of you out there make Flash content, but if you do and you don't want it ripped off and hosted on other people's sites, I threw together an article at FlashSandbox about how you can both track down and stop people from stealing your Flash videos.
How to wash a cat
January 4th, 2007 at 04:03:51 PM
Now, you may have a cat, or know someone who does, and if that cat smells, it may need to be cleaned. How to do this? Well that's what this gem found on craigslist will explain. The author details 2 ways to wash a cat, and they're both hilarious. I think the only thing that's missing is pictures of each step (I'm thinking that drawn pictures like those on airplane saftey cards would work well). If you want a good laugh, I recommend you take 5 minutes and read the post, 'cause it's pretty funny. Heck, you don't even have to like cats to enjoy this, so read it and pass it along. Who knows, maybe you'll actually learn something...

Now we're talking! Get your hands on Mario's cap or Link's Shield for a fun game of Nintendo Monopoly. It's $35, but if you want to make an 80s gamer happy, it may be worth it.

Core 2 Duo and Neverwinter Nights 2
November 17th, 2006 at 01:23:34 AM
I recently upgraded my gaming computer to a Intel Core 2 Duo so that I could enjoy Neverwinter Nights 2 at more than 3 frames per second and I'm rather pleased. I find that not only is the frame rate better, but I can use the higher graphics settings without losing play quality. I've yet to do anything other than install and play Neverwinter Nights 2, but doing anything, even on the lowest Core 2 Duo chip, the Conroe E6300 1.83GHz, seems faster. Installing programs seems faster, but maybe that's just my imagination. Overall, if you have the money to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo, I recommend that you go for it. Just remember that you may need a new motherboard, graphics card, and RAM to go with your shiny new CPU.
